The bizarre kidnapping of Jayme Closs
She was held hostage for 88 days
On October 15th, 2018, a man named Jake Thomas Patterson committed an atrocious crime. He broke into the Closs family house in Wisconsin just after midnight. He shot James and Denise Closs before turning on their thirteen-year-old daughter, Jayme Lynn Closs. He took her to a house 70 miles away where she would be held for the next 88 days.
