The death of Eugen Weidmann
A crowd of people once gathered just outside of Versailles, France just after midnight on June 17th, 1939. Some in the crowd were drinking heavily and joking to make the mood seem less heavy, while some stared on in silence as they waited outside of a prison.
These people were waiting for the public execution of the German serial killer; Eugen Weidmann who killed six people.
